Is it April 15th yet?

While some may be asking is it Spring yet, I find myself asking a different question...is it April 15th yet?  You see in our house we have a different season than most families...we have tax season.  For our family that means, Daddy is very busy and works a lot.  But we know that he still loves us and misses us very much.  While it can be hard at times I find that my husband has gone out of his way this year to make an effort to be home more.  I see it in the way he gets up to go to work at 4:30am and comes back home at 6:30am when the girls get up to help me get them dressed, fed, and loaded into the car.  I see it in the way he is home every night by 5:40pm to eat dinner as a family and spend a little time if even just 30 minutes with us.  It is most evident on the nights he is able to make it home after that by 9pm to try and just catch Avery still awake and to sneak in one more book with her.  You see my husband has set his priorities...his family comes first.  We can feel it everyday if even just for small moments...those moments mean a lot.  I am reminded this tax season that I have an amazing husband that has made it a priority to put his family first and I am so very thankful for him.  So we tread on with tax season looking forward to the warm summer months and the time when our family can be whole again:)
